Idstein-Heftrich

Directions     

1) From Frankfurt take A66 towards Wiesbaden take exit Hattersheim-Ost towards Lorsbach and Eppstein. There is a “Praktiker” on the right hand. Keep straight on L3011 for 7 km passing Kriftel, Lorsbach towards Eppstein. At the end of Eppstein, there is a traffic light. Take the right lane in direction to Vockenhausen, Ehlhalten and Heftrich (L3011) for 5,4 km. Behind Ehlhalten there is a junction to Schlossborn. Go on straight for some more 6 km. Turn left (Hash sign) before Heftrich direction Niederseelbach/Niedernhausen. On top of the hill you made it.

2) Coming from Wiesbaden via Highway A3 you may head to Idstein, than to Heftrich. At the roundabout use the first exit, after 100m take the road to Niederseelbach/Niedernhausen. On top of the hill you made it.

3) Another scenic option is using the B8, between Königstein and Glashütten, there is a junction to Schlossborn. In Schlossborn take the direction to Ehlhalten/Heftrich (L3319). This street ends in the street L3011 between Ehlhalten and Heftrich. Turn right to Heftrich. You may also leave the B8 at the junction to Kröftel. This roads leads to Heftrich. At the roundabout take the third exit to Niederseelbach/Niedernhausen. On top of the hill you made it.

Take enough time. In doubt use the above mentioned number. Try to avoid accidents!
       
Public Transport   

Sorry, public transport is rather difficult.
The S2 is leading to Lorsbach, Eppstein and terminates in Niedernhausen.
You need a pick up at the railway station. Please ask Hashers or Hare.
