Ides of March
It has come to our notice that the barbarians are revolting again and the Roman Empire must increase their presence on the Limes Germanicus. To this end, it has been decreed that we stage a hash, something not entirely unlike a run to demonstrate our solidarity to the cohort with the fort and our superiority over the barbarian tribes.
There may be barbarians in the area, these are to be recognised by not wearing Roman attire (i.e. togas). If the barbarians are not already owned, they may be enslaved and later, lest the Gods be offended, disciplined accordingly by our high priest and religious adviser.
Please come dressed as a Roman

Directions
By Private Chariot:
Take the A661 towards Bad Homburg and leave on exit 1 on the B455/B456 toward Weilburg, Usingen, Oberursel-Oberstedten. After 7km and leaving Bad Homberg, you climb a steep hill and follow the signs to Saalburg-Romerkastell on the left. Use http://maps.google.com or go to http://www.saalburgmuseum.de/english/home_engl.htm. The parking area selected will be signed.
Public Transport
From Frankfurt, take the S5 from Hauptwache (13:50) to Bad Homburg (14:15) and then at 14:19, take the busline 5 in direction Saalburg (if you have already paid for the Bad Homberg zone, no extra ticket required) arriving at 14:37. The on-on is being delayed until 14:40 to allow time for people to arrive by public transport.
