HHHello all you serious and not-so-serious hashers!!

After last years great success of Sembach's German Hash-a-thon 2012, we decided to let this become a traditional annual event in Germany.

So this year, Frankfurt FH3 is organising this fabulous, challenging yet fun hashing day:

The 2nd German Hash-a-thon 2013

When: June 8, 2013, start at approx 8am end - when the last circle has ended!!

Where: Rüdesheim, Hesse, Ebentaler Hof (http://www.ebental.de)

How to register: send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. (include your hash name, nerd name, kennel, t-shirt size)

How much: EUR 45 for the day, incl t-shirt, food, snacks, beers, softies, ...... and at least one patch!

(note: we will not be organising any accommodation, however. there will be camping space available for both caravans and / or tents, as well as limited room accommodation)

'What is a Hash-a-thon' you ask?

First, and most importantly, it is FUN and EVERYBODY can participate whether you are a runner, walker or just want to be there, drink beer and laugh at all the stupid f***** that actually ARE running!

A Hash-a-thon is a Marathon organised by four  Hash-Kennels, each kennel laying a trail of 10,55km  length, so all four together equal Marathon distance.

HOWEVER - the beauty at this is: you do not have to run all four trails. If you decide just to do one or two of them (or none at all) - hey, that's up to you!! (then again, for every trail you DO run, you will get an extra patch, so you might want to consider it!)

After every 10.55km trail, there will be a circle with appropriate punishments!

BUT - there is one teeny-weeny little hiccup we have to still deal with at the moment, and with that not being solved, this whole thing WON'T be happening!

Haring kennels are Sembach, Heidelberg, Stuttgart and Frankfurt (not necessarily in that order, mind you!)

SO - if you want to be there, hare or no hare, please let me know - its going to be FUN !!! Ask last year's participants!
