How to get there: From Frankfurt take the A5 going South. Take exit 27, Darmstadt-Eberstadt.  Turn right on to B3/B426 at the first crossing towards Ober-Ramstadt / Höchst i. Odenwald.
Keep on B426 (even when B3 turns right) for about 7 km.
Turn right before the Lohbergtunnel towards Waschenbach/Frankenhausen.  Stay on this road through Waschenbach, pass a quarry on the left and find HHH parking just before entering Frankenhausen on the right (next to the deer enclosure).

About the trail: There will be meadows, forests and industrial sites.  There will be horses, deer and cattle.  You will be complaining afterwards that the trail was too flat.  It's not particularly stroller-friendly, but stroller-friendly detours may be pointed out if needed.
NB: The mismanagement will not be liable for any injuries incurred by Scottish Highland cattle encountered on trail.  Do not be deceived by their cuddly looks. Fences are there for a reason (mostly).
