Trail is suitable for trolleys, families, old farts and FRB’s, some very romantic spots are chosen to celebrate spring. The castle ruin first mentioned in 12th century can be visited on your own from 12:00h-15:00h on Sunday, small entry fee and even smaller museum. Temples?-Yes, there are some and you do not want to visit all of them.

Directions

From Frankfurt take A66 towards Wiesbaden take exit no. 12 Hattersheim-Ost towards Lorsbach and Eppstein.
Keep straight on L3011 for about 12 km passing Kriftel, Hofheim and Hofheim Lorsbach towards Eppstein.
Railway station is on the left, parking is possible at P+R.

Public Transport

S-Bahn S2 from Frankfurt (dir. Niedernhausen) every 15 min. 
Get off the train in Eppstein and look for Hashers on the nearby car park.
