How to get there:
a. Public transport
tram 15 from Südbahnhof via Stresemannallee to Haardtwaldplatz (final station)
bus 51 from Frauenhofstrasse (dir. Hoechst) til Haardtwaldplatz
bus 51 from Hoechst (dir. Frauenhofstrasse) til Haardtwaldplatz
b. By car (not recommended)
from the city along mainufer (southside) to Niederräder ufer; turn left at SHELL into Haardtwaldstrasse.
from the A5 (coming from the south, i.e. Frankfurter Kreuz) til exit 21, F-Niederrad, follow Niederräder Ufer to the right til SHELL und turn right into Haardtwaldstrasse.
solution. Either you leave the A5 at F-Westhafen and drive via the city (Baseler Platz, Friedensbrücke, Mainufer) or you drive to Frankfurter Kreuz and make a U-turn:
keep right on B43, keep right and drive 359 degrees around Unterschweinstiege; first exit to the right brings you back on A5. you are now coming from the south and can leave the A5 at exit 21 F-Niederrad.
2nd note: the ICON indicating the location is placed a little bit wrong: when you "enlarge" the map you can see the loop (schleife) of the tram and the playground.
